AviClear: The Future of Acne Treatment

Despite acne being the most common skin issue in the nation — up to 50 million Americans struggle with it — there’s yet to be a solution that can work for everyone.

Until now.

AviClear is the first and only FDA-cleared energy device for the treatment of mild, moderate, and severe acne. It specifically targets the source of the oil (sebum) produced by your skin, which means you will produce less oil, your acne will get better, and it will stay better.

The results of AviClear are permanent.

As dead skin cells and pollution mix with the skin’s sebum, pores become clogged and can create and promote a cycle of breakouts. AviClear is the first laser of its kind that selectively targets and suppresses the sebaceous glands, which produce the sebum that can cause and intensify breakouts. AviClear provides lasting acne improvement without significant side effects. Patients can expect Accutane results without the hassle and side effects of this long-standing acne medication.

In addition to reducing existing acne, clinical trials show that future breakout episodes are shorter, less intense, and more infrequent following the AviClear treatment. In fact,  of patients in the clinical trial responded to treatment, 80% saw at least half of their acne clear, and nine out of 10 patients were satisfied or very satisfied with their results one month after their final treatment.

It’s suitable for nearly everyone.

Unlike many other lasers, AviClear is suitable for all skin tones. Its breakthrough technology seeks out the source of sebum that causes or worsens acne breakouts rather than targeting and adversely affecting the melanin found in darker skin tones.

It’s also considered a “generational” acne treatment, as age isn’t a factor either. AvIClear is FDA-cleared for the treatment of mild, moderate, and severe acne, which means anybody with acne will respond to the treatment, regardless of age or the severity of the breakouts.

It’s also a promising alternative for those who have already tried Isotretinoin (Accutane), or prescription antibiotics and are now seeking a less invasive alternative for their more persistent acne symptoms.

AviClear works in just three sessions.

In a series of three-minute sessions — once per month for three consecutive months — AviClear uses a 1726nm wavelength (a type of laser frequency) to treat these glands so they produce less sebum. That, in turn, makes your current and future breakouts shorter, less intense, and more infrequent.

There are nearly no risks or side effects.

During treatment, patients may notice a slight snapping sensation, and the laser’s skin cooling and sensory control mechanism maintains the skin’s temperature so the treatment is more comfortable.  Aside from that, side effects are virtually nil and the treatment has no downtime, meaning you can resume your day following treatment and you can maintain your regular skincare regimen within 3 days after treatment.
