Pearl™ FAQ’s

Get answers to your most pressing questions about this specific treatment. Here are a few that we hear most often:

How should I care for my skin before and after my treatment?
How long is a Pearl™ appointment?

Actual treatment only takes between 30-45 minutes, however you will be in the office for a total of 2 hours, because numbing cream is applied which needs time to activate.

Who will perform my treatment?

A qualified physician will perform your Pearl™ treatment.

Will it hurt?

We do everything we can to minimize any discomfort you may experience. Most describe the treatment as feeling warm but not painful, and immediately afterwards the skin tends to feel more like a sunburn. We apply a topical numbing cream to your skin, and prescription medicine may be given prior to the treatment if desired.

Is Pearl™ safe?

Yes, when administered by physicians. Great care is taken to choose laser settings that are right for your skin type and concern. It is FDA approved and one of the treatments our physicians desire most for their skin.

What should I expect?

When you arrive to the office for treatment, a medical provider will apply topical numbing cream to your skin. Providers go over exactly what to expect during the healing process and how to take care of your skin post-treatment. Afterwards, you will wait for approximately 1 hour for the cream to take effect while you relax comfortably at the office.

As the physician performs the treatment, you will feel the warm pulses from the laser. Immediately after procedure, skin will be red and swollen with a honeycomb-like appearance. As the skin heals, it will form a natural, protective dressing that will slough off within 3 to 4 days to reveal healthy tissue underneath.

Will there be downtime?

You should expect about 7 days of social downtime. However, if you are planning for a major upcoming event, you may want to allow for more time to be properly healed.

When will I start seeing results?

In as little as one week, you will see a renewed appearance. However, improvement will continue gradually, with full results revealed at 6 months as our bodies continue to generate collagen in response to the treatment.

How long do results last?

The stimulation in collagen production provides both immediate and long-term anti-aging benefits. It is recommended to repeat the treatment annually to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

How much does it cost?

Treatment pricing starts at $1680. Please call a Timeless office for more details.

Am I a good candidate?

Coming to the office for a consultation with a medical provider is the only way to know for sure. However, anyone bothered by hyperpigmentation, fine lines and uneven skin tone can benefit from the treatment.
