How long is an appointment?

Each area treated takes less than one hour. One of the key unique advantages Timeless Skin Solutions has over many other offices is that we can perform Dual CoolSculpting. Simply stated—we can treat patients in half the time as other offices.

Will it hurt?

Patients typically report feeling an intense cold sensation when treatment begins. You may feel pulling, tugging, and mild pinching, but these effects typically subsides within 10 minutes as the area becomes numb.

Is CoolSculpting safe?

There is very minimal risk due to the non-invasive nature of CoolSculpting. After the procedure, some patients experience redness, tingling, minor bruising or numbness in the treated areas, but this is temporary. No pain medication is required during treatment. Results and patient experiences may vary.

How does CoolSculpting work?

During your CoolSculpting treatment, a gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the targeted fat so you may feel intense cold, but this sensation typically subsides within 10 minutes as the area becomes numb. Many people read, check email or even take a nap during their sessions. Afterwards, patients are usually able to return to normal activities.

What type of results can I expect? And when will I see those results?

Patients can expect to see a noticeable reduction of fat in the treated area, an average of 20-23%. Once treated, the fat cells are gone for good and you will no longer store fat in these areas. Additional treatments in the same or multiple areas can help enhance the desired aesthetic effect. While some patients may see results as early as 3 weeks after their session, most dramatic results are usually seen 1-3 months after treatment.

Where does the fat go after the CoolSculpting treatment?

During the CoolSculpting procedure, a non-invasive applicator delivers precisely controlled cooling to the treatment area to specifically target underlying fat, leaving surface skin and other surrounding tissue unaffected. When fat cells are exposed to extreme cold, a process of natural cell death is triggered and dead cells are naturally flushed out by body.

How is this different than liposuction?

The results of a CoolSculpting treatment are not as rapid as invasive procedures such as liposuction. However, if you want to avoid the pain, risk and recovery time associated with surgical procedures like liposuction, CoolSculpting may be the preferred option.

How much does it cost?

CoolSculpting pricing varies greatly from person to person and without seeing you in person it is impossible to give accurate pricing. Treatment areas start at $750 per cycle, and multiple cycles are needed to achieve desired results. Package pricing is available offering savings of up to 33%.

Am I a candidate?

The best candidates for CoolSculpting are men or women who are at or near their ideal body weight and are looking to reduce stubborn, unwanted pockets of fat. CoolSculpting is not intended as a weight-reduction program. Every patient is unique, which is why we recommend a comprehensive and customized treatment plan as part of the CoolSculpting consultation.

What are the risks?

There is very minimal risk due to the non-invasive nature of CoolSculpting. After the procedure, some patients may experience redness, tingling, minor bruising or numbness in the treated areas. This is temporary. No pain medication is required during treatment. Results and patient experiences may vary.

CoolSculpting uses patented cooling technology to eliminate stubborn fat cells within a targeted area for noticeable and long-lasting results. CoolSculpting uses Cryolipolysis®, a discovery of Harvard University scientists that involves controlled freezing of select fat cells. With treatment, fat cells are gradually and painlessly eliminated through your own natural metabolic process.
