Most adult men and women who are looking to increase muscle tone or mass can benefit from truSculpt® flex treatments. Every patient is unique, which is why we recommend a comprehensive and customized treatment plan as part of the truSculpt flex consultation.
The truSculpt flex treatment takes 45 minutes to treat two areas simultaneously, however expect to be in the office for an hour and 15 minutes for pictures and treatment setup.
As the treatment begins, patients feel a gentle tingling and contraction sensation and, as the intensity slowly increases, the muscle contraction intensifies. Patients do not describe the sensation as painful, rather as if someone is kneading and stretching the muscle tissue. Patients may feel muscle soreness up to 24 hours after treatment similar to soreness experienced after an intense gym workout.
Typically 4 to 6 treatments are needed at an interval of no less than 48 hours and no more than 7 days between treatments. Treatments are spaced at least two days apart and two treatments per week are ideal. Two areas can be treated in each 45-minute session. Remarkable results can be achieved with as little as four to six treatments. Additional treatments may be required to achieve the personalized results you desire.
After treatment, patients may notice tingling in the areas treated for up to a few hours and/or slight muscle soreness or tenderness for 24-72 hours.
While some patients note visible results after the second session, maximum results are visible 8-12 weeks after the last session. A quarterly maintenance program of one additional treatment is ideal to maintain results.
