AviClear is the first and only FDA-cleared laser treatment that specifically targets the source of acne – excess sebum from the sebaceous glands (oil glands). AviClear treats mild, moderate, and severe acne. This revolutionary laser treatment uses a 1726nm wavelength to selectively target sebaceous glands in the skin which helps minimize oil production and prevent future breakouts. Additionally, the laser also targets the bacteria that contribute to acne, reducing inflammation and promoting healing. Overproduction of sebum by the sebaceous glands is one of the leading causes of acne. AviClear has been proven to be safe and effective for all skin types and tones, in addition to all acne types, including hormonal and cystic acne.

When undergoing the treatment, you may experience a mild warming sensation on your skin as the laser is applied. However, the procedure is generally well-tolerated, and any discomfort is typically minimal. After the treatment, you can expect your skin to feel slightly sensitive and may experience some redness or mild swelling, similar to a sunburn. However, these side effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days. Your provider will take necessary measures to decrease any discomfort you may feel.
Unlike most traditional acne treatments, AviClear is free of harmful side effects, free of chemicals and toxins, and safe for all skin types and tones. After treatment, mild symptoms such as redness, inflammation and flareups are normal but fade quickly. AviClear is very safe when performed by trained medical providers such as those on the staff of Timeless Skin Solutions.
