Timeless is thrilled to announce we now offer Lumenis ResurFX™ laser treatments along with our other advanced laser treatments!

The benefit of the ResurFX™ laser treatment is that our medical providers can achieve significant results for their patients with minimal recovery time.

What is Lumenis ResurFX™?

Lumenis ResurFX™ is a state-of-the-art, non-ablative, fractional laser technology. ResurFX™ stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibers in the deeper layers of the skin for the treatment of age/sun spots, fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, scars and loose skin.

Because the laser is non-ablative it does not destroy or ablate the surface skin cells. Fractional means it targets a portion (or fraction) of skin at a time. All this to say, our medical providers can achieve impressive results without the extensive downtime seen with other lasers.

How does Lumenis ResurFX™ work?

The laser creates microbeams that heat the deeper layers of the skin stimulating new collagen and elastin production. As new collagen is produced, your skin becomes firmer, more radiant, while pore size, and fine lines are reduced.

How many treatments are needed?

After the first treatment, you may notice changes in pore size and overall skin texture, however because Lumenis ResurFX™ works with your skin to stimulate deep collagen regeneration, typically, three sessions are needed to have visible and significant results. You will continue to see improvements for up to six months following the treatment.

What can I expect during and after the ResurFX™ treatment?

Topical numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment making the actual treatment quite comfortable.

Immediately following treatment, you may experience some redness and/or swelling, depending on your customized treatment settings. The swelling will diminish after hours and the redness as quickly as the 1-2 days.

Most patients can resume their daily activities the same day. Please note, if you have a darker skin tone your provider will advise you to use a skin lightener or hydroquinone 4 weeks prior to the treatment to reduce the risk of darkening of the skin after the treatment.
