What’s in Her Smoothie?

The ladies of Timeless are passionate about skin’s health and wellness, and love to educate our patients about the importance of proper skincare, effective treatments and… smoothies?  That’s right.  We know it matters what you put on your skin as well as what you put into your body.  Skin is your body’s largest organ and eating well can directly lead to healthier looking skin.

Our own Lynsay wouldn’t be caught without her beloved green smoothie every morning.  All of us were curious to know what in the world is in her breakfast drink…

Lynsay’s Recipe:
1 Banana (Vitamin B-Complex – Promotes cell renewal)
1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries (Vitamin C & Vitamin E – Incorporates a powerful antioxidant combo to fight sun damage)
1/2 Cup Frozen Kale (Vitamin C & Vitamin A – Prevents acne & provides Antioxidants)
1/2 Cup Frozen Collard Greens (Vitamin C & Vitamin A – Antioxidants)
1 Tbs Chia Seeds (Omega-3 Fatty Acids – Combats skin inflammation)
1/4 Cup Hemp Protein Powder (Because everyone can use a little more protein…)
2 1/2 Cups Water
Blend until… “smooth”!

 

 

Lynsay is on point!  Everything in this smoothie provides valuable nutrients to fight aging skin from the inside out.  It’s easy & yummy… just don’t let the green color scare you!
