Timeless Spotlight: Teresa O’Connell, ACNP-BC
Joining Timeless in 2020, Teresa brought with her 24 years of nursing experience, with three of those years in the field of aesthetic medicine. She earned a degree in Biology from the University of Colorado, and an MSN in acute and critical care nursing from Vanderbilt University. Teresa currently lives in Dublin with her husband, son, and daughter.
When asked why she chose to practice aesthetic medicine, Teresa notes, “I am passionate about putting people at ease and educating them on how to take care of their skin.” She recognizes that aesthetics can be confusing a wide variety of procedures and products, and believes that education – for her and her patients – is the key. “I like to help create a personal plan that will work for each individual’s life and goals. I want them to feel confident and good in their skin.”
We recently had a chance to catch up with Teresa about her thoughts on the future of skincare, her favorite treatments and products, and how she likes to spend her free time.
What is your favorite treatment?
What is your favorite product?
TNS Advance A+ Serum is my favorite product because it helps with tightening and collagen production and I have found it helps with the tone and texture of my skin.
What is your favorite restaurant or goto dish?
I love Chinese food! – Specifically the Sesame Sea restaurant, I love the Coco curry chicken.
Cherry Twizzlers! I call them Tier One, meaning they are at the top of the candy food chain. All of the PCC’s know this about me …
What does the future of skincare look like to you?
I think treatments that stimulate the skin like Secret RF will continue to be popular because they address so many concerns.
I wish people knew this about me?
That I will always make people feel comfortable and safe by providing guidance. I love to learn and share that knowledge!
Woodworking! I am currently redoing my deck and I have completed many projects in my home, like wainscoting and bookcases. Asking for a miter saw and nail gun for Christmas one year set into motion all kinds of home improvement projects! One day, I would love to rehab an old house.
