Five Pro-Botox Celebs
It’s no secret that celebrities (and even non-celebrities) face a social stigma when discussing their use of Botox. Here are five bold celebrities who are confident and comfortable enough to speak out about their treatments:
1. Kelly Ripa: During an interview with Elle Magazine, Kelly Ripa expressed she gets the occasional Botox injection. “Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,” she said. “So I feel like it makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.”
2. Courteney Cox: In InStyle, Cox opens up about her use of Botox. “Aging gracefully is one thing, but trying to slow it down is another. Sometimes I use Botox. …I don’t have a problem with any of that stuff; if it makes you feel better about yourself and it’s done properly, then fine.”
4. Jill Zarin: In this recent interview with Wendy Williams, Zarin announces her success with a liquid facelift using Restylane and Botox. At the end of the interview she says she’s been receiving Botox injections between her eyes and on her forehead “for ten years”.
5. Teri Hatcher: As a guest on Oprah in 2006, Teri admits she went to her doctor asking how to not look so tired: “You know, like that thing where you just feel so yucky about yourself…and I went to a dermatologist and I’m like, `I’m just so tired, look how tired, I’m so tired.’ And she said, `Do your Botox.'”
