After a nine-month nightmare of being very sick with thyroid and diabetes and having it take a horrible toll on my body and face, I decided to see Dr. Clinton. Not only did she make me happy to look in the mirror again, bu...
Over time, lips can thin, magnifying the look of tiny lines/wrinkles around the mouth.
To restore a more youthful look, we use injectables known as facial fillers to help restore lip volume, making fine lines less noticeable.
Dr. Clinton uses longer-lasting hyaluronic acid facial fillers, such as Juvederm Volbella™, Belotero, Restylane® Silk and Radiesse, which encourage your skin’s own collagen production with continued use.
These facial fillers not only encourage your skin’s own collagen production, they also plump up, hydrate and fill in wherever volume has been lost.
Because we believe in natural-looking, full-volume correction, Dr. Clinton is often able to use less filler over time by administering touch-up injections every 6 to 9 months.
During the procedure, Dr. Clinton uses a thin needle to inject a small amount of facial filler just under the skin in the area that needs correction.
For most patients, the procedure causes no more than minimal discomfort. In fact, patients who previously have found the procedure painful often find the experience much more pleasurable in our office.
Dr. Clinton is at the highest level of injectors for facial fillers, making her more skilled than most. Patients choose facial fillers over surgical treatments because they are less expensive, provide immediate results and have limited downtime.
Dr. Clinton uses a variety of approaches to minimize discomfort some of which include applying a topical numbing cream at the site of the injection, as well as injecting a numbing agent along with the facial filler.
Expect mild redness and swelling for the first few hours following the procedure.
Do not manipulate the treated area. See complete treatment instructions.
