Lifts sagging skin to diminish lines and wrinkles

Skin naturally loses collagen and volume as we age, causing the skin to sag. Facial fillers, including Voluma, are injectables that are used to restore facial volume and improve overall appearance.

What’s different about JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC? JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is a gel that is injected into the cheek area to gently lift the skin. It temporarily corrects age-related volume loss in the cheek area acting as a structure to hold up the skin’s surface. This helps to create a more youthful appearance to the face. As people age, the cheek area loses volume, making the cheeks flatten, and the youthful fullness starts to droop and sag. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is the first and only filler approved to temporarily correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area in adults age 21 and over. Until recently, this area was either ignored or possibly over filled with a product not quite perfect for the cheek area. However, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC instantly provides smooth, natural-looking results that last up to two years with optimal correction.

How it Works/What To Expect

During the procedure, Dr. Clinton uses a thin needle to inject JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC? deep under the skin in the area that needs correction. For most patients, the procedure causes no more than minimal discomfort. Dr. Clinton is at the highest level of injectors for facial fillers, making her more skilled than most. Patients choose facial fillers over surgical treatments because they are less expensive, provide immediate results and have limited downtime.
Dr. Clinton uses a variety of approaches to minimize discomfort some of which include applying a topical numbing cream at the site of the injection, as well as injecting a numbing agent along with the facial filler.

Expect mild redness and swelling for the first few hours following the procedure. Patients may also experience some bruising at the site of the injection.
