Ovarian Cancer Journey: Dr. Carol Clinton Shares Her Personal Story of Survival

Throughout my 20 years of practice, I've seen many patients face life’s challenges with grace, resilience and fortitude.

So when I was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer in 2005, I used the encouragement of my friends, family, staff, patients and other physicians to face the surgery, chemotherapy and recovery process.

I had to quickly learn how to receive rather than give, as I went from the role of physician to that of patient. Throughout it all, I experienced the kindness and healing power of others.

It became a fact of life that taking care of myself was necessary to help my healing. I was (and still am) humbled and grateful for the many people who helped and supported me along the way.

That life experience changed me in many ways, of course; one of which was defining the mission of my practice, Timeless Skin Solutions.

I have found that many doctors treat their practices as a science by compartmentalizing and standardizing their patients.

I wanted my approach to be different: customized and personalized.

So I've dedicated myself to achieving natural-looking results for my patients with a focus on the safety and efficacy of our treatments. My staff and I work with our patients to create an individualized treatment plan that keeps them looking and feeling their best.
