Over exposure
to sun and wind are the most common reasons for the appearance
of facial
veins. These veins are permanent
dilations of the small superficial blood vessels on the face. Other
contributing factors can be heredity, hormones, disease, and excessive
alcohol use.
Due to the
advanced technology of the laser, facial veins can be removed
safely without
leaving a scar. There are lasers that break
the tiny vessels into fragments, which allows the body's natural
cleansing mechanism to clear the excess out, thereby leaving
behind
normal skin. There are also lasers that seal the vessels so
the blood cannot flow thru them. This type of process is
useful for deeper, larger vessels in the
face.
